Legacy

Wemindji is a Cree Community with 1600 residents, but it has so many successful and passionate hockey and broom-ball players. While Wemindji residents have made their mark in many sports, undoubtedly the Wemindji main Ice Hockey team, the Wolves, as well as all the other hockey and broom-ball teams, have taken a major place in ice sports within the communities but also in the whole country.

Every year in Wemindji, when Hockey Tournaments start, thousands of people travel to participate and to see the games. The Wemindji Teams are always expected to perform well, are always expected to win.

This year, we present new uniforms for the Wolves, as well as a new complete web site with many interesting sections. An important addition will definitely be the virtual store "The Pro-Shop", which will allow fans to wear what the pro wear.
